We are a vibrant, growing garden landscape company based on the Surrey/Hampshire border. We take immense pride in our skills and workmanship, working with some fantastic designers and architects to create our customer's dream gardens, and then maintain them to keep them thriving for years to come.
We are looking for a new part-time Gardener to work with us 3 days per week to help us continue to grow, working as part of our existing team to maintain some exceptional high-end gardens, as well as some smaller, more compact spaces. This role might suit someone who has an active interest in horticulture, nature and gardening, and may want to work part time whilst managing other commitments/their own private work or another job/work-life balance etc.

We have been featured on Gardeners World, after our show garden at BBC Gardeners World Live won a Gold medal, best Show Garden and People's Choice award. Responsibilities:
- Working to provide regular maintenance for a variety of different gardens, ranging from small, compact spaces to large extensive landscape grounds.
- Working from annual and monthly garden maintenance schedules to ensure that gardens are maintained to a high standard all year round.
- Accurately managing time and tasks whilst on site to ensure that all work is carried out in an efficient and productive way
- Carrying out all aspects of garden maintenance work, including lawn care and maintenance, pruning hedges, trimming and pruning shrubs in an appropriate way throughout the year, cutting back, dividing and maintaining good health in all perennials and herbaceous borders, weeding beds, mulching, streaming, leaf and debris clearance, tree maintenance etc.
- Competently using garden machinery
Requirements:
- At least 3 years gardening experience to a high level
- RHS level 2 and 3 in Horticulture ideal
- Strong horticulture knowledge, a strong ability to identify plants and understand their appropriate care routines.
- Polite, reliable, approachable, professional and honest.
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
- You MUST have your own transport and be able to commute to GU24 each morning. Please note we are NOT close to public transport links.
Job Types: Part-time 3 days per week, self-employed status (invoices paid weekly)
Hours of work: 3 days per week 7:30am - 4:30pm (specific days to be agreed).
Optional overtime may be available.
Salary: starting at £130.00 per day depending on experience levels.
