At the Greenock semiconductor manufacturing site, we produce Bipolar, MOS, BiCMOS integrated Circuits. In addition to this we are moving into the manufacture of discrete devices and developing new Power MOSFET technologies.
Nature of Job
Working in the quality group reporting to the site Senior QA Engineer this role will be to develop your skills in a Quality Engineering role, understanding the Quality requirements of semiconductor manufacturing and importance of Quality to our customers in key market segments such as Automotive.
Key in this role will be continuous improvement of our standards and systems to meet ISO9001 and IATF16949 certification requirements.
The role will require the successful candidate to complete apprentice degree qualification

Key Areas of Responsibility
- Understanding document control system
- Develop Internal and external audits skills – Compliance to procedures
- Understanding of software packages
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Understanding and implementation of New Quality initiatives
- Understanding customer requirements and impact of change
- Understanding change control and safe launch
- Work with fab to develop best practice Quality systems
Qualifications/Experience
Diodes will be working in partnership with The University of Strathclyde to deliver this Graduate Apprenticeship. The Engineering: Design & Manufacture Graduate Apprenticeship has a flexible admissions approach and applications will be considered on an individual basis with input from employers.

· Higher Physics
The programme has been designed to meet the needs of learners with a range of vocational and academic qualifications including the potential for progression from:
