Pharmaceutical Delivery Driver
Multiple locations: Bristol
Self Employed
£750 a week, £39,000 per annum
Average of 55.5 hours, working Monday to Saturday
Job Summary
We are looking for a delivery driver with a caring, friendly nature and a responsible attitude to join our team and deliver medication to our customers. This is an essential service and a role where you truly make a difference. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to drive various vehicles, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport pharmacy products to various locations.
- Responsible enough to remember to wear PPE at all times (Hi-Vis and Steel toe Shoes)
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of items while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with patients and customers during deliveries.
- Manage multi-drop routes efficiently to optimise delivery schedules.
- Perform heavy lifting as required and maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the delivery vehicle.
- Check, load, and deliver customer orders on predetermined routes utilising Asset Tracking Devices.
- Ensure products are transported under correct conditions, maintaining temperature, cleanliness, and security.
- Represent the company professionally as a visible face to customers and the public.
- Carry out all required safety checks on your allocated vehicle and equipment.
- Delivering of totes to one area at a time, not multiple addresses in one area.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards is advantageous.
- Experience in warehouse operations is a plus.
- Experience driving LWB vehicles is preferred.
- Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and team members.
- Good command of spoken and written English (this is due to the nature of the goods you are transporting)

Requirements:
- Delivery driver experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Driving: 2 years (required)
- Clean driving licence: Less than 6 points (required)
- Self Employed
- Local geographical knowledge (preferred)
