Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to a variety of vehicles, ensuring precision and attention to detail. Responsibilities
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Mix paints and colour matching to achieve the desired finish.
- Operate spray guns and other painting equipment with precision to apply even coats of paint.
- Use hand tools and power tools for surface preparation and finishing tasks.
- Perform quality checks on painted surfaces, ensuring adherence to company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with minor repairs or touch-ups as required.
- Follow all safety protocols when handling paints, solvents, and equipment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer or in a similar role within an automotive body shop or workshop.
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle assembly and repair processes.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools essential for surface preparation and finishing.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling vehicle parts or equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for colour matching and finish quality.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to spray painting environments.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
