Lighting Warehouse and Electrical Ltd - Driver/Warehouse Assistant (Edinburgh)
Lighting Warehouse and Electrical Ltd, have grown from a small family business with over 20 years’ experience, covering two branches in Glasgow and one in Edinburgh. The branches offer an extensive range of Ceramic Tiles, Pvc Panels, Flooring, Bathrooms, and Electrical supplies. Due to importing significant amounts of stock, this led to the opening of the Edinburgh branch which has now been established for over 6 years.
The business continues to grow from strength to strength and currently has an exciting full-time opportunity at our Edinburgh branch for a Driver/Warehouse Assistant.
We are looking for someone to join the team and grow with the business.
- Full time driver/warehouse assistant
- Hours Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm
- Alternate Sat 9am – 2pm (paid at overtime)
- 28 days annual leave
- Uniform provided.
- Monthly pay, paid directly into your bank.

Role requirements
- Loading and unloading stock to company vehicles
- Deliver goods to customers both trade and public.
- Make sure company van is always clean and tidy completing van checks and paperwork daily.
- Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse.
- Stock shelves in warehouse and any other reasonable task required.
- Positive attitude and willingness to apply themselves.
- Be able to work using own initiative.
Essential requirements
- Full clean UK Driving Licence Age 21 +
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent time keeping and managing time.
- Be able to work on own.
- Previous warehouse experience would be an advantage.
- Professional and clear communication skills
- Experience of delivering high levels of customer service
- Positive attitude, high levels of commitment, motivation, and flexibility
Job Type: Full-time 45 hours per week, permanent Salary: £26,500 depending on experience.
