Counter Assistant / Front of House Team Member
Location: The Best Kebab, Hove
We're looking for a friendly, reliable, and hardworking team member to join our front of house team at The Best Kebab.
This is a customer-facing role, so you'll need to enjoy speaking with people, work well under pressure, and be comfortable using a POS till system.
Duties include:
- Taking customer orders at the counter using our POS system
- Answering telephone orders
- Processing cash and card payments
- Preparing simple food items and drinks
- Keeping drinks stocked and organised
- Cleaning tables, trays, and customer areas
- Maintaining a clean and tidy front-of-house area
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service at all times
What we're looking for:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and well presented
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and confidence using a touchscreen till
- Previous experience in hospitality or takeaway is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends
