Key Responsibilities.
Adaptive Curriculum Delivery
Teach a highly flexible, multi-subject timetable across both core subjects 9English, Maths, Science, PSHE) and creative vocational courses (Music, PE and Business).
Ensure that all instructional materials are differentiated according to the different abilities of the class.
Classroom Leadership and EHCP Implementation
Direct and lead classroom learning support assistant and broader support staff, ensuring they are deployed effectively to implement targeted Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) strategies.
Partner with speech and language therapists and engagement and personal development lead to integrate clinical recommendations into daily multi-subject lessons.
Maintain a structured, communication-rich and safe classroom environment that minimises anxiety and supports sensory regulation.
