This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and driven professional to own the smooth day-to-day operation of a dynamic environment. As the first point of contact for visitors and the welcoming face of the business, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring office operations run seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Front of House & Visitor Experience: Provide first-class customer service, welcoming visitors in a positive, engaging manner and acting as the main point of contact.
- Customer & Business Support: Answer incoming phone calls, review email requests, resolve queries, and build effective working relationships across all levels of the business.
- Facilities & Operations: Manage incoming/outgoing post (sorting, scanning, filing, distributing), ensure on-site health & safety standards are met, update office signage, and keep essentials fully stocked (stationery, sundries, and kitchen supplies).
- Cross-Departmental Support: Assist the People Team with ad hoc admin, support Learning & Development with training administration/event setup and help with Company Fleet Coordination where required.
- Document Preparation & Projects: Print, bind, and prepare important materials for key meetings, assisting with various business projects as requested.
- Culture & Events: Get involved in social and team events, collaborating with the internal social committee to organise office activities.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: Background in a pivotal support role, such as a PA, Office Administrator, or Business Support Specialist.
- Communication: Exceptional face-to-face and telephone communication skills with a supportive, customer-focused approach.
- Organization: Outstanding attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage and prioritise workloads.
- Adaptability: High flexibility with the ability to switch quickly between tasks to meet changing business needs.
- Initiative: Self-motivated and comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
