Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within a busy Modern Indian dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for coordinating food preparation, supervising staff, and maintaining high standards of hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including service, food quality, and customer satisfaction
- Supervise and manage staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the premises
- Coordinate food production and preparation processes to ensure timely delivery of dishes
- Lead by example in delivering excellent service and fostering a positive team environment
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to optimise profitability
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any complaints promptly and professionally
- Implement marketing initiatives to promote the restaurant and attract new patrons
- Maintain accurate records of daily sales, staff attendance, and operational procedures
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong team management abilities with excellent leadership qualities
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and serving techniques
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
- Ability to manage food production processes efficiently while maintaining high quality standards
- Experience in hospitality management or hotel operations is advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Strong communication skills to liaise with staff and customers confidently
- Knowledge of culinary practices and kitchen operations is desirable
- Barista experience or bar management skills are considered a plus
