Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Bricklayers Labourer to join our gang of bricklayers. This role involves assisting bricklayers in various building projects, and ensuring smooth workflow. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, and reliable, with an interest in masonry and construction trades. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in the construction industry with the potential to learn bricklaying in the future.
candidates must have a valid CSCS card, and own PPE.
candidates must provide there own transport to and from site.
Duties
- Assist bricklayers with their daily tasks, including preparing materials and tools.
- Mix mortar and carry bricks or blocks to designated areas on-site.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment by clearing debris and waste materials regularly.
Skills
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic masonry techniques is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials safely and stand for extended periods.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure quality work and safety compliance on-site.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team.
