Background
We currently have an opportunity for a paralegal to join the commercial property department. The department act for a large number of housing associations, private developers and owners of leasehold investment properties. The role will involve ensuring efficient processing and high levels of service delivery to all clients served by the team.
The role
Duties will include:

Dealing efficiently with the processing of section 38, section 104 and section 278 infrastructure agreements, including providing title and advising client on terms and co-ordinating execution of and completion of documents and working with our AI developers to help streamline the process and providing progress reports for various housing association clients
- Assisting fee earners in compiling site acquisition overviews on multiple sites for multiple housing associations and attending the client review meetings
- Assisting the Fee Earner with their caseloads which comprises of standard plot sales to dedicated clients
- Helping to Open new files
Assisting with setting up and downloading data rooms on various transactions
- Assist colleagues to meet department targets and SLAs.
- Assisting fee earners in progressing matters and chasing solicitors acting for the other side
Skills & Qualifications
The successful candidate will ideally have basic conveyancing/property experience. They will have excellent client care skills and be willing to attend client meetings when required. In addition, the ideal candidate will need a high level of administrative and IT skills. Experience of a case management system would be a distinct advantage.
An eye for detail and strong organisational skills are also needed along with the ability to organise and prioritise work in order to meet demanding deadlines.
