Direct Payment Personal Assistant Required
I am looking to recruit a Direct Payment Personal Assistant(s) for my 8 year old son.
Hours wanted:
4 hours every week during term time and 6 hours per week during the holidays, all year round. Flexibility with how these hours can be used.
More about the young person:
This person has a diagnosis of ASD with developmental delay across all areas, including social communication difficulties. He has also been diagnosed with gravitational insecurity and ARFID.
He is a happy and loving child with people he knows well.
He loves being outdoors, reading, dinosaurs, Lego and is good with Numberblocks.
This person is a huge sensory seeker, and enjoys playing with sand, mud, slime, anything textured. He is described as resilient, never gives up, caring and a complete rule follower. He responds well to the ‘now’ and ‘next’ approach.
He can express most of his needs and is partially toilet trained.
Experience needed:
This person needs someone who has experience working with children who have disabilities.
He lives in the BS20 area.
