Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and well-being of children in our nursery setting, creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that promote children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
- Support children’s learning through play-based methods, encouraging curiosity and independence
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times, adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and daily activities
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
- Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and personal care needs
- Organise engaging learning environments that stimulate exploration and creativity
- Contribute to the organisation of outings or trips in accordance with organisational policies
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
- Proven management or leadership skills within a childcare environment are advantageous
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members
- Experience driving or possessing a valid driving licence is considered beneficial but not essential
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team while also taking initiative independently

Pay: £25,420.00-£42,939.35 per year
