Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere from the moment they step in.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and bar staff.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness.
- Provide attentive guest services, addressing questions, special requests, and resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Assist in food safety and hygiene practices, including proper food handling and adherence to health regulations.
- Upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods, prioritising tasks to maintain smooth service flow.
- Manage bookings and walk ins without overwhelming other areas of the business.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is required.
- Strong knowledge of serving techniques, food safety standards, and guest service principles.
- Familiarity with basic math for handling bills, payments, and order calculations.
- Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, providing insight into food preparation processes.
- Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tables and tasks efficiently.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating positive guest experiences is essential for success in this role.
Pay: £10.00-£12.71 per hour
