Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Recycling Advisor to join our environmentally conscious team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in promoting sustainable waste management practices and, assisting with recycling processes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor ( using a camera system ) and manage recycling stations, ensuring proper segregation of materials and to look for blockages
- Conduct routine inspections of recycling equipment
- Maintain accurate records of recycling activities and report on progress
- Collaborate with team members to optimise recycling operations and improve efficiencySkills
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for maintaining and troubleshooting recycling equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, with physical strength and stamina
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with and team members effectively using walki takkies
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment
