Registered Domiciliary Care Manager
Job Overview
HALO Domiciliary Care is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Domiciliary Care Manager to lead and develop our growing home care service. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care while maintaining full compliance with CQC regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding requirements, and company policies.
- Lead, motivate, and support care coordinators and care staff.
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes.
- Monitor service performance and implement continuous improvements.
- Conduct staff recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisals, and training.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with service users, families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities.
- Manage staffing levels and rota effectiveness to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Investigate incidents, complaints, and safeguarding concerns promptly and professionally.
- Support business development and growth within the local community.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or Domiciliary Care Manager.
- Strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Experience managing a domiciliary care service.
- Experience with local authority contracts and private care packages.
- Knowledge of care management software and electronic care planning systems.
