Estate Agent
Aim of the department: To provide excellent sales services to our clients, to achieve the best sale and outcome for vendors and purchasers.
The individual: Will be competent in all areas of the communication, negotiations, sales progression, administration and have a breadth of knowledge working on various IT software packages. In addition to this, you will have competent time management skills and a common sense approach.
Scope of the role: (includes but is not limited to). Management of applicant/buyer database, handling portal registrations, viewing requests, processing offers, general office administration, including updating our CRM system, liaising with vendors, prospective buyers and industry professionals. Use of your own car is essential to accompanying viewings and valuations.
Skills: Essential previous Estate Agent experience. Competent IT skills, communication skills, A good telephone manner and good command of the English language is necessary, as the role involves a high volume of face-to-face and telephone communication.
Local knowledge within our operating area is essential, to be able to work confidently when appraising the local housing market. Ideally you will live within a 5 mile radius of Hoddesdon office.
Training & skills development: Staff are actively encouraged to engage in professional development through supported learning, provided by industry specialists, along with local and job specific courses.
Dress code: Smart office appearance and a company dress code policy applies.
Hours: 5-day week.
Weekday 9am - 6pm (1 hour for lunch)
Saturday hours are 9am - 5pm (1/2 hour for lunch). A day off in lieu for working Saturday's.
Salary dependant on experience and proven sales track record.
COMMISSION payable after the probationary period.
