Area Mobile Supervisor:
GSF is seeking an experienced and motivated Area Mobile Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will have proven supervisory experience within the cleaning industry and demonstrate a proactive, hands on approach, excellent communication skills, and strong problem-solving abilities. This role involves managing cleaning teams across multiple sites, ensuring high standards of service are maintained, deadlines are met, and all company policies and Health & Safety procedures are followed. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining client satisfaction.
Region:
- Southern Scotland, covering the Edinburgh and Glasgow areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure cleaning standards, site presentation, and stock levels are maintained.
- Recruit cleaning staff as required.
- Provide operational cover for staff absences and annual leave.
- Train, induct, and support new employees.
- Manage company equipment, asset transfers, and inventory in accordance with company procedures.
- Arrange equipment repairs when authorised by the Operations Manager or Branch Director.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, Health & Safety legislation, and client requirements.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and employees.
Requirements:
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Professional appearance and presentation.
- Proven experience within the cleaning industry at supervisory level or above.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and cleaning operatives.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Full, clean UK driving licence with a minimum of one year's driving experience in the UK.
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with a strong work ethic.
- Positive attitude, honesty, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work primarily Monday to Friday, with varying start and finish times and occasional weekend working throughout the year.
- BICSc qualification or knowledge would be advantageous.
- Minimum of two years' supervisory experience.
