Role Description:
This is a full-time, Technical Sales Representative role and will be predominantly field base, with some time spent at Ecobelt's Head Office in Oldham, OL9 0JA.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across target industries.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers.
- Conduct customer site visits to assess requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Prepare and present technical proposals, quotations, and product demonstrations.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully.
- Provide technical support and product knowledge to customers.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities.
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs.
Requirements:
Essential
- Previous experience in Conveyor belt technical sales, engineering sales, or industrial product sales.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the UK and Europe.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand and explain technical products and solutions.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Desirable:
- Engineering or technical qualification.
- Knowledge of conveyor systems and associated equipment.
- Experience managing key accounts and large projects.
