Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail outlet. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong leadership and organisational skills to drive sales and optimise store performance. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to facilitate communication with diverse customer bases. The ideal candidate will possess previous management experience within retail environments and demonstrate excellent communication, merchandising, and team management skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Supervise daily store operations, including stock management, merchandising, and visual presentation
- Organise staff schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor performance to ensure operational efficiency
- Implement sales strategies and promotional activities to maximise revenue
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety within the store environment
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy using excellent phone etiquette
- Analyse sales data and prepare reports to inform business decisions
- Manage administrative tasks such as inventory control, ordering supplies, and record keeping
- Foster a positive team environment through leadership, training, and development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations
Experience
- Proven management or supervisory experience within retail or a related sector
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail in merchandising and presentation
- Effective communication skills in both spoken and written English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous
- Demonstrated ability in sales management, achieving targets, and driving business growth
- Experience in stock control, administrative duties, and utilisation of retail management software
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining high standards of customer service
