Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Motorhome & Campervan Technician to join our team. Experience within the Caravan & Motorhome Industry is essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong aptitude for troubleshooting and repairing and installing a variety of equipment and devices. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Technician will be responsible for Servicing, Repairs, Installations of varying nature including lithium battery upgrades, exterior styling & lighting upgrades.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in various types of Motorhomes, Campervans & Caravans.
- Perform repairs on defective components, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to resolve complex issues.
- Perform various new installations to high end motorhomes.
- Perform camper conversion work, full or part builds
- Maintain a good helpful attitude as this is a customer facing business,
Requirements
- Experience of the Motorhome industry is Essential
- Strong understanding of mechanical, joinery, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics effectively.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
- A relevant qualification in engineering or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies.
- Your own tool kit is preferred.
