Overview of key responsibilities
We are recruiting a highly motivated and experienced Partner/Head of Department , at least 10 years PQE, someone who will support the growth of the department and the firm.
The successful candidate should be committed, hardworking and be able to demonstrate detailed knowledge and experience in acting both for respondents and defendants, contentious and non contentious.
You will work with our first class team which has broad expertise across the full remit of employment law and is often instructed in cases of extreme public importance. This role will provide an exciting opportunity to help develop and expand the work of the team.
skills/knowledge requirements
Essential:
Experience of representing both individuals and institutional/commercial clients across the full spectrum of employment related matters both contentious and non-contentious;
Specific experience of discrimination litigation
An appetite for self-motivated business development and marketing;
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy case load;
Where possible, a following of clients, potential clients or referrers with whom you have developed a strong professional relationship;
The ability to work within and contribute to a dynamic and high performing team;
Experience of supervising other fee earners
Effective negotiation skills
Knowledge of UK Law and regulatory frameworks
