Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join our innovative design team. In this role, you will play a vital part in translating conceptual designs into precise technical drawings and detailed construction documents. Your expertise will ensure that architectural visions are realised efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate on diverse projects, from initial design development through to construction documentation, contributing to inspiring built environments.
Duties
- Develop detailed architectural drawings and models using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to produce coordinated design documentation.
- Prepare construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, details, and schedules that meet project specifications and building codes.
- Assist in the review of design proposals for feasibility, constructability, and compliance with local regulations.
- Manage project workflows efficiently by organising files, tracking revisions, and maintaining accurate records throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support on-site construction activities by providing technical guidance and resolving design-related issues during construction phases.
- Contribute to project management tasks such as scheduling, budgeting support, and coordinating with contractors and consultants.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with architectural CAD software including AutoCAD and Revit; proficiency in SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of building construction processes and experience working on construction sites or with construction teams.
- Experienced within the field of planning policies and building control regulations for at least 2-3 years.
- General understanding of various disciplines in the field such as architecture, interior design, MEP and structure.
- Willingness to learn new subjects when the need arises.
- A satisfactory level of English is required; if you speak other languages, this will likely be a differential, since we work with several clients from diverse nationalities.
- Demonstrated ability to produce detailed technical drawings and construction documentation accurately.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects.
- Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and regulations essential for ensuring compliance in all deliverables.
- Prior experience of at least 2-3 years working within architectural firms or related environments is preferred.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture Technology, Interior Design or a related field is mandatory.

Pay: £25,805.23-£41,800.00 per year
