They are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Technical Administrator to work closely with Financial Advisers and the Senior Paraplanner, providing high-quality technical and administrative support across the client journey.
The Role
You'll be involved in a broad range of technical and client-facing activity, from financial research and cash-flow modelling to preparing recommendations and liaising with providers.
You'll help ensure advisers have everything they need to deliver an efficient, professional service, while developing your own technical knowledge and career within wealth management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial research and cash-flow modelling to support client planning
- Prepare financial plans, illustrations and application packs
- Attend client meetings alongside advisers where required
- Draft basic suitability reports and manage pre- and post-meeting actions
- Maintain accurate client records using XPLAN
- Liaise with clients and product providers, resolving queries efficiently
- Support the administration team with new business processing and SLAs
- Ensure client files remain accurate, complete and compliant
- Provide clients with regular updates on transfers, withdrawals and other ongoing actions
- Handle inbound calls and provide wider administrative support
About You
You'll ideally have:
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
- Previous experience within a wealth management or financial advisory practice
- Knowledge of provider platforms and new business processing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and report-writing ability
- Good Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with XPLAN or similar back-office systems is desirable
- Previous client-facing experience would be advantageous
