Role Description Maternity Cover from October 2026 for six months. Half-day Saturdays.
This part-time Saturday Podiatrist maternity cover role is a based in our Camden clinic, with some work-from-home tasks such as administration and follow-up communication.
The podiatrist will provide high-quality assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans for a range of foot and lower limb conditions, including musculoskeletal issues, gait problems, and routine podiatry care. Day-to-day activities include conducting in-person consultations, performing clinical treatments, maintaining accurate clinical records, and collaborating with osteopaths, physiotherapists, and other team members to deliver integrated care. The role also involves patient education on prevention, rehabilitation, and self-management, as well as contributing to clinical quality standards and best practices within the clinic.
Qualifications
- Recognised degree in Podiatry and current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or equivalent regulatory body.
- Clinical experience in general podiatry, musculoskeletal podiatry, and gait assessments, including routine and complex case management.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, clinical reasoning, and evidence-based treatment planning for diverse patient populations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, with clear and professional communication skills.
- Comfort with hybrid working, including using clinical software for notes, scheduling, and remote follow-up where appropriate.
- Commitment to person-centered care, with a warm, empathetic approach and respect for patient diversity and individual needs.
- Ongoing engagement in professional development; additional training in sports injuries, biomechanics, or rehabilitation is beneficial.
- Experience within private practice or similar settings is an advantage, particularly in delivering high-quality patient experience.
Remuneration
Based on a percentage of income/takings/patient numbers. This role benefits from being a maternity cover in an established Saturday clinic.
Pay: £1,236.00-£4,700.00 per month
