These roles are 15:00-23:30 Monday to Friday. The rate for this role is £14.11 per hour, 40 hours per week with additional £6.50 shift allowance per shift.
Key principles of role;
- Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices are adhered to at all times within your areas.
- Ensure all health and safety, food safety and legal requirements are adhered to at all times.
- Coach and mentor your team members. Identify training needs.
- Actively manage staff performance (output, timekeeping, L&D activity, compliance training).
- Complete manual changeover of equipment during product change over including;
- Forward planning of packaging, film, labels and protein prior to changeovers.

Ensure communication between Production and other departments (packing, prep etc) is maintained prior to changeovers to manage a smooth transition between production runs

Ensure tooling for changeover is planned in advance and accessible.
- Ensure line breakdowns are communicated to engineers in a timely manner, advance plan to keep the line running during label changes.
- Ensure staff utilisation during changeovers / downtime.
- Ensure all production paperwork to be completed to the required standard.
- Ensure daily production plan is completed in full, Communicate issues regarding the daily plan to your Team Manager in a timely manner.
- Assist with new product trials within the area, obtain accurate information to ensure a smooth and effective product launch.
- Align with Team Manager in decision making processes and issue resolution where necessary.
- Effective early communication of issues to the team and management.
- Ensure all equipment is used correctly and returned in good condition.
Key Measurables;
- Raise any Health & Safety concerns with Line Manager.
- Challenge and exceed agreed KPI’s: Labour, waste, material usage, giveaway, run rates and change overs.
- Ensure all staff members are trained to required standard for role being undertaken.
- Asist in the carrying out of internal audits ensuring our site standards are met, implement corrective and preventative actions.
- Ensure all staff are rotated between jobs regularly and fairly.
