Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Floor Staff to join our small team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Duties
- Welcome guests and assist with seating arrangements in a friendly and professional manner
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Making coffees / serving alcohol
- Take orders accurately, process payments, and handle cash or card transactions securely
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables and sanitising surfaces regularly
- Support baristas with drink preparation when necessary, ensuring quality standards are upheld
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
- Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns to enhance their overall experience
Experience
- Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Experience in food preparation or restaurant environments is advantageous
- Barista experience is considered a plus but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is desirable
- A friendly attitude with excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour is essential
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced setting will be beneficial for handling busy service times effectively
