Job Description:Junior Engineering Technician Apprentice (Degree Apprenticeship)
Role Title
In-House Engineering Apprentice / Junior Engineering Technician
Location
Cannock

Apprenticeship / Full-time
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on apprentice to join our in-house engineering team. This role is focused on supporting the maintenance, troubleshooting, improvement, and day-to-day operation of technical equipment within the business.
Applicants should ideally have completed, or be close to completing, a Level 3 Engineering qualification, T Level, BTEC, relevant A-levels, or equivalent practical experience.
The role would suit someone who is practical, technically minded, and interested in understanding how machines and systems work. You will assist with diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, supporting equipment upgrades, and helping keep systems running reliably.
This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on problem-solving, fault-finding, and learning practical engineering skills in a real working environment.
The role will include a structured higher education route, starting with a company-funded HNC in Engineering. Subject to performance and progression, the candidate may then continue onto the HND and a degree top-up route, giving them the opportunity to work towards a full engineering degree while gaining hands-on industry experience.

- Keeping tools, parts, and work areas organised
- Following safe working practices at all times

- Interest in motors, pumps, sensors, wiring, machinery, or automation
- Experience fixing, building, or modifying technical equipment
