Educator, care giver, nose wiper, chef, artists, biologist, technologist, missing object finder, entertainer, problem solver, superhero, chef, footballer, builder, architect, story teller, floor sweeper, cuddle giver, baker, peace maker, inventor, life saver, receptionist, explorer.
This is a Full Time Position – The Nursery is open 50 weeks per year, Apprentices work 32 hours a week, this is over 4 days per week on a shift basis, Monday - Friday, allowing 1 day per week for college work.
To be eligible for an Apprenticeship you must be aged 17 or over.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
Candidates will commit to working towards a Level 2 or Level 3 (depending on GCSE qualifications), work in conjunction with a chosen provider to successfully complete your qualification within the set timescales. Applicants must strive to be a team player, be self-motivated in both their studies and work place, show enthusiasm in learning how to create a stimulating, fun, inviting and caring learning environment for young children. Applicants will need to take a role in ensuring their room is represented in the best way for the children to thrive and succeed in their early years and give them the best possible start.

The Nursery will support you through your studies, working in partnership with both you and the training provider. All staff undertake, as part of their induction, First Aid, Safeguarding and Health & Safety courses, all courses contribute towards your CPD (Continued Professional Development), they will either be undertaken as e-learning, on site or at a local site.
