We’re looking for someone who has proven experience in Angular and React. Our standard front end language is React but large parts of our estate are written in Angular so this role will need to be comfortable in both environments (we do plan in future to migrate from Angular to React).

What will you be doing?
Collaborate with visionary product managers, imaginative designers and backend engineers to translate product requirements and designs into high-quality frontend code.
You will be an integral part of the Engineering team - laying the road map and defining best practices for our Frontend team.
Take ownership of our experience in terms of how customers can access their loan information and make changes and updates to their service. We’re also looking to streamline the experience for customers to submit documents and understand the status of their loan application.
Playing a pivotal role in our upcoming migration to a React codebase from Angular
Craft visually stunning user-facing features and components that are intuitive for the users across all browsers and devices, creating an exceptional and seamless experience
Empower your fellow developers by being interested in the bigger picture, exist within the wider engineering team as a whole
What about you, what do you need to bring/have?
2-3 years of experience as a professional Frontend engineer with proven experience in using React
Familiarity with Angular either in a professional or hobby environment
A solid understanding of web development principles, including the art of cross-browser compatibility, responsive design and web performance optimisation.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the power to thrive in an agile and fast-paced environment where collaboration is the key to unlocking greatness
