Role overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across designated areas such as kitchen areas, toilets, and offices, to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to an environmental setting while gaining valuable experience in cleaning services. Immediate start required.
Pay: £13.45 per hour
Shifts:
Monday, Wednesday & Friday - 3 hours per shift
9 hours per week
Duties:
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, common areas, and other facilities using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Disinfect surfaces, trash removal, and restocking supplies as needed
- Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Adhere to the scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes
Skills:
- Prior experience in cleaning is essential
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to cleaning practices is a plus
