Sales & Marketing Assistant
Are you passionate about travel? Keen to work in the travel industry? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join Exsus Travel as a Sales & Marketing Assistant.
This is a full-time, entry-level position, ideal for a recent graduate or someone looking to take their first step into a career in travel.
Please note: This is a primarily remote role, however, applicants must be based in or around Manchester. You will be required to attend our central Manchester office (King Street) for approximately one day every two weeks to assist with preparing and dispatching client travel documents (this may vary slightly depending on business needs).
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience across all aspects of the day-to-day running of Exsus Travel. The role is currently focused primarily on sales support, with ad hoc marketing responsibilities.
On the sales side, duties may include:
· Working on the travel booking system
· Assisting with drafting quotes for clients
· Sourcing and logging imagery and video content
· Checking and editing travel itineraries
· Cost-checking excursions, accommodation and other elements of travel itineraries
· Researching and fact-checking practical travel information, including transfers and excursions
· Preparing, printing and dispatching travel documents and client travel wallets during office days
On the marketing side, duties may include:
· Updating website content and imagery using the Content Management System
· Copywriting for hotels, destinations and itineraries
· Writing and scheduling social media content
· Uploading marketing offers across various platforms
· Supporting the Head of Marketing and Senior Marketing Executive with ad hoc marketing projects
This is a fast-paced role where no two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of tasks across both sales and marketing.

This position is ideal for someone who has a genuine passion for travel, enjoys writing engaging content, has excellent attention to detail, and is keen to develop a career within the luxury travel industry.

· Excellent written English and copywriting skills, with strong attention to detail.
· Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
· A genuine passion for travel and tourism.
· Creative, proactive and eager to learn.
· Willingness to build knowledge across more than 100 destinations worldwide.
· Previous copywriting experience is desirable, although full training will be provided.
· Previous experience in sales or marketing is advantageous but not essential.
Salary: £24,500
Working hours: Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-5:30pm; Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.
As part of a shared team rota, you will occasionally work a late-start support shift of either 10:00am-6:30pm on a Thursday or 10:00am-6:00pm on a Friday. These shifts are rotated fairly across the team, meaning you will not work a late Thursday and late Friday in the same weeks.
