Campbell’s Kitchen is expanding! Our first food truck became a local favourite, and after launching our second van, we are evolving how we serve Bristol. We are now adding a third van into our growing company!
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person to take on a unique, hybrid role that splits time between the road and our catering unit.
If you love the independence of driving and the satisfaction of high-quality food preparation, this is the perfect opportunity to help shape an expanding business.
This is a perfect role for someone who enjoys variety:
3 Days a Week (The Sandwich Van): Supported by our van manager, Deborah, you’ll be the friendly face of Campbell’s Kitchen on the road. You’ll drive our sandwich van, manage your route, and sell fresh, delicious food directly to our regular customers.
2 Days a Week (Catering Lead): Based in our unit, you be part of the kitchen team cooking our tasty specials for the cafe, prepping for our deli counter and working along the front of house team to deliver outstanding customer service for cafe customers.
Full training will be provided for both roles.
Key Responsibilities:
Kitchen Experience.
Driving safely, ensuring corporate orders arrive on time as well as navigating the sandwich van route.
Building relationships on the van days to turn first-time buyers into regulars.
Handling payments, keeping accurate daily records, and maintaining high food hygiene standards.
Providing a warm, "barista-style" customer service whether you are at a van stop or a corporate office.
What You’ll Need To Bring:
You are exceptionally reliable, punctual and take pride in the details.
Confidence in face-to-face sales and building professional relationships.
A background in delivery driving and food/beverage service or catering.
A full UK driving license and no more than three points on your license.
Comfort with safely lifting and moving stock/catering equipment.
