Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Manager - Operations to oversee and coordinate daily operations across multiple sites within our organisation.
We are Security Company based in the West Midlands, we are looking for a highly professional, motivated individual to join our team, covering sites in the Midlands & North West area. The role will operate out of our Head Office in Wolverhampton, although much of the time will be spent in the field. This role specifically relates to the late-night hospitality sector, providing door supervisors to the night-time economy. Most of this role is carried out over weekends & evenings.
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate his/her strong proven ability to recruit staff and manage, as this forms the biggest challenge within this role. Although the role is autonomous, we expect a working week to consist of circa 50 hours.
Job essentials
It is essential that you have: -
· A current SIA front or non-front license, or the ability to obtain one.
· A clean Full UK Driving License
· A minimum 5 years’ experience in security/ contract management, and extensive understanding of the late-night economy.
· People management experience is essential
· Strong and proven recruitment strategies, the ability to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering the same. High volume people management skills.
· The ability to work well under pressure.
· An excellent level of literacy and numeracy, in conjunction with computer proficiency.
· Ability to carry out Risk Assessments, document and offer recommendations.
· This role is a permanent, full-time position.
· In return we offer a starting salary of £35,000 (commensurate on experience) plus benefits and a fuel card.
Pay: £35,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
