The Senior Training Officer will play a key role in supporting schools, academies and multi academy trusts by delivering high quality finance training that enables confident and effective financial management.
This role would suit an experienced trainer, finance professional or school business manager with strong communication skills, offering the opportunity to develop training programmes, influence learning approaches and work closely with a wide range of education stakeholders.
A Full UK Driving Licence, access to your own vehicle and willingness to travel is essential for this position.

You will play a key role in delivering high quality financial training and support to education settings, ensuring staff have the knowledge and confidence to manage finances effectively.
This is a role where expertise and collaboration are essential, with responsibility for delivering training programmes, developing learning content and supporting schools through financial processes.
Delivering in-person finance training to schools, academies and stakeholders to support effective financial management.
Designing and developing training materials and programmes to meet customer needs.
Supporting the development of e-learning and digital training resources to improve accessibility and efficiency.
Evaluating training effectiveness and making improvements based on feedback and identified needs.
Providing support to a designated school contract.
Providing tailored financial training and guidance to school staff and governors.
Maintaining up to date knowledge of financial regulations, policies and procedures.
Supporting schools with financial planning, monitoring and reporting where required.
Working closely with internal teams to deliver training and meet business requirements.
Supporting the development of staff training within the service to ensure capability and consistency.
Proven experience in a finance, training or education environment.
Strong training, presentation and facilitation skills.
The ability to design and deliver engaging learning content.
Experience working with stakeholders and providing advice or guidance.
Good IT skills and confidence using digital learning tools.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
Desirable experience in building engaging and effective e-learning content

Salary of £33,100 – £37,855 per annum (dependant on experience)
25 days annual leave, rising to 27 after four years.
