Teaching Assistants – September Start | Fareham
We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants for an exciting opportunity at an independent SEMH school in Fareham, starting in September.
The school supports students aged 11–16, with small class sizes of approximately three pupils per class, allowing staff to provide highly personalised support.
We are potentially looking for three Teaching Assistants to join the school and support pupils across Years 8, 10 and 11.
The role:
- Support pupils with their learning and development
- Work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support
- Help create a positive, safe and supportive learning environment
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students
- Support pupils with SEMH needs within a small-class setting
The ideal candidate:
- Has previous experience working with children or young people
- Has experience supporting pupils with SEMH or additional needs, or is keen to develop this experience
- Is patient, resilient and compassionate
- Can build positive relationships with young people
- Is committed to helping pupils achieve their potential
