To be the face of the restaurant — delivering a warm, confident, and memorable welcome that sets the tone for every guest’s experience. With Kate Media handling the mechanics of ordering, the Host is free to focus on what matters most: genuine hospitality, guest connection, and creating a premium first and last impression.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome & First Impressions: Greet every guest within 15 seconds of arrival. Make them feel seen, valued, and excited to dine with us.
- Introduce Kate Media: Confidently present the tablet as a benefit — a tool for guest control and convenience, not a replacement for service.
- Guest Flow Management: Manage the door and seating plan with calm authority, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal wait times.
- Guest Engagement: Build rapport quickly. Use names, remember preferences, and personalise the experience.
- Communication Hub: Relay guest needs to the wider team — dietary requirements, special occasions, or service preferences.
- Atmosphere Leadership: Set the tone for the shift. Keep energy high, music right, and the vibe on-brand.
- Feedback Loop: Proactively seek guest feedback and escalate concerns or compliments to the manager on duty.

Experience:
- Restaurant Operations 1 to 2 years (mandatory)
