Delivery & Furniture Assembly Driver
We are looking for a reliable, practical person to join our team in a hands-on delivery and furniture assembly role.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with tools and be confident following instructions. A trade background, skilled labour experience or previous furniture assembly experience would be an advantage.
The role involves delivering and assembling furniture in customers' homes, so applicants must be physically capable, comfortable using tools and able to work to a good standard.
Requirements
- Must have their own tools
- Full clean driving licence
- Confident driving a box/Luton van
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Good practical and problem-solving skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Good with customers
- Able to work as part of a two-person delivery team
Hours
8:30am–4:30pm Monday to Friday
Plus every second Saturday
Sociable working hours with paid lunch and breaks.
Pay
£13.80 per hour
This role would particularly suit someone from a trade, construction, maintenance, fitting, joinery or skilled-labour background who is looking for consistent work with sociable hours.
