We are looking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of English for a Maternity Cover. A successful candidate would be able to teach English at KS3 and English Literature and English Language at KS4.
The English department at Rushcliffe Spencer Academy is a large, dynamic and high-achieving faculty. We offer a robust and exciting curriculum emphasising core literacy, analytical and creative writing, and a strong culture of reading. At KS4, we offer GCSEs in AQA English Language, English Literature and AQA Media Studies. We also currently offer A-Levels in AQA English Literature, English Language, English Literature and Language, and AQA Media Studies.
The ideal candidate would be able to operate within a dynamic and forward-thinking team who are focused on developing exciting and engaging learning experiences for students across the 11-18 age range. You must have a passion for teaching English, together with the knowledge and skills to inspire and motivate our students.
