A position has become available for a qualified experienced Pharmacy Dispenser to join our excellent established team. Applicants must have a GPhC recognised Dispensing Qualification.
We are a busy growing pharmacy which means the role can be demanding with changing targets. We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, honest and a team player with excellent communication skills.
Customer service excellence is paramount for this role and the core focus of the pharmacy and would need to be of the highest standard at all times.
Your duties will include:
- Tailoring conversations with every customer to ensure they leave your pharmacy feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
- Delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines e.g. ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection of prescriptions.
- Complying with legal and professional requirements and accepted guidance on professional practice.
- Seeking opportunities to engage with GPs and practice teams to promote services and items.
- Delivering efficient dispensary operations and ensuring dispensing losses are minimised.
Working hours would be 26 hours a week. Some overtime may be available throughout the year. Applicants must be able to work between 08:15 and 18:00 Monday to Friday.
