The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Business Development Consultant to join our team at our Rugby office.
This is an opportunity for a driven sales professional who enjoys building relationships, opening doors and closing high-value consultancy engagements. You'll be trusted to represent the Manovate brand with confidence, professionalism and credibility, helping business owners find the right solutions to protect and grow their businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Build lasting relationships with business owners, directors and senior decision-makers.
- Conduct professional consultations to understand client challenges and objectives.
- Present Manovate's consultancy services as tailored business solutions.
- Manage opportunities from initial contact through to signed engagement.
- Maintain an organised sales pipeline using our CRM.
- Work closely with our consultancy team to ensure an exceptional client experience.
- Represent Manovate professionally at client meetings, networking events and, where appropriate, while supporting clients throughout legal proceedings.
Essential Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years' proven experience in B2B sales.
- Demonstrable success in closing high-value, consultative sales.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- A professional appearance and manner at all times.
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Confidence engaging with business owners, directors and senior stakeholders.
- High levels of integrity, discretion and confidentiality.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when required.
Desirable Experience
- Experience selling management consultancy, professional services, legal services, business advisory or technology solutions.
- Existing network within the SME or mid-market business community.
- Experience working with complex or high-value client engagements.
