Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young children and looking to start a rewarding career in early years education. As a Nursery Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognized qualification in childcare.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day care and supervision of children aged 3 months-5 years.
- Support the planning and implementation of activities to promote children's development.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for the children.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Observe and record children's progress and development.
- Assist with mealtime routines, including preparing and serving food.
- Follow all safeguarding and health & safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- A genuine interest in working with young children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative.
- Willingness to learn and complete a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional.
- Previous experience in a childcare setting (desirable but not essential).
