Metro Rod Northampton is a quality regional drain care and repair business and part of the national network of Metro Rod operations. We are seeking an experienced Drainage engineer ideally with good knowledge of CCTV surveys and installing patches and liners to join our team in the Northampton area. This is a full-time vacancy with an element of on call shifts and will involve you in providing a range of emergency and contracted services to both commercial and domestic customers.
You will need to
- Carry out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of our customer’s drains, EMC, HPWJ, confined space entry work etc
- Deliver a high standard of customer service and technical expertise
- Operate in accordance with H&S and Quality procedures
- Maintain standard of company service vehicle and equipment
- Accurately record work details via internal and client systems
- Communicate effectively with clients and Metro Rod Head Office colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times
You will
- Be a fully qualified Drainage Engineer
- High pressure water jetting qualification
- Confined space trained and qualified
- Full, clean driving licence or max 3 points
- Be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check
- Have a positive can-do attitude
- Be flexible in your working hours (including time “on call” out-of-hours). Our engineers work one on call night per week and one weekend in four
- Ability to work in a positive team environment and develop your skills

- A CRB disclosure will be requested in the event of a successful application
