HGV CLASS 1 (C+E) TRAMPER DRIVER WANTED
Direct Logistics Ltd is looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our team.

THE ROLE
You will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various UK locations while maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism and customer service.
MAIN DUTIES
- Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Ensure loads are correctly secured before and during transportation
- Deliver goods safely and on time to customers and delivery locations
- Plan routes and manage driving time effectively
- Complete delivery paperwork and vehicle documentation accurately
- Communicate with transport/dispatch regarding deliveries, delays or any issues
- Follow all UK road traffic laws, drivers' hours regulations and company policies
- Maintain a professional attitude when dealing with customers and other road users
✅ WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience
- Curtainsider experience preferred
- Good knowledge of UK roads and transport regulations
- Good driving record and a responsible attitude
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to carry out loading/unloading duties when required
