We are seeking a proactive and versatile Multi-Skilled Handyman / Property Maintenance Operative to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs to keep properties in optimal condition
- Conduct electrical work such as troubleshooting wiring issues, replacing fixtures, and understanding electrical schematics
- Operate and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation systems within the property
- Use welding techniques to repair metal structures or components as needed
- Read and interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings to accurately carry out repairs or installations
- Supervise maintenance projects, coordinate with contractors, and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant or occupant requests promptly and professionally
- Lead small teams or oversee subcontractors during maintenance projects, demonstrating leadership skills
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and fix diverse issues efficiently
- Electrical experience including wiring, circuit testing, and understanding electrical schematics
- Proficiency in working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation systems
- Skilled in welding techniques for metal fabrication or repairs
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately
- Excellent supervisory skills with experience in supervising maintenance teams or contractors
- Clear communication skills in English to effectively coordinate tasks and interact with clients or team members
- Customer service orientation with a friendly, professional approach
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities to guide projects and motivate team members
