Job Purpose
McKenna Brothers is seeking a motivated and practical Trainee Sign Fitter to join our growing installation team. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced installers, learning how to manufacture, install, maintain and remove a wide range of signs, vehicle graphics, vinyl applications and specialist branding solutions.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist with the installation of internal and external signage.
· Help fit vehicle graphics, wraps and vinyl applications.
· Support the installation of fascia signs, illuminated signs and wayfinding systems.
· Measure, mark out and position signage accurately.
· Safely use hand and power tools under supervision.
· Assist with workshop manufacturing and assembly tasks.
· Carry out site surveys and measurements.
· Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
· Follow company health and safety procedures.
· Deliver excellent workmanship and customer service.
Skills & Attributes Required
· Experience using hand tools and workshop equipment through employment, college courses, hobbies, construction, engineering, vehicle maintenance or similar practical environments will be useful.
· Strong attention to detail, reliability and a willingness to learn.
