Summary
We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at Glencarron Nursing Home in. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our residents' daily lives and ensuring they receive the highest standard of care, reflecting our commitment to compassion and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Support the development and implementation of personalized care plans.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Assist with medication administration under supervision.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided.
- Support the overall well-being of residents through attentive and respectful care.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in a care home or similar setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Valid driving license is desirable.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in elder care.
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
- Knowledge of care plans and procedures.
- Flexibility to adapt to residents' needs
Pay: Up to £12.82 per hour
