Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during various dental procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
- Ensure patient comfort and provide support throughout treatments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules efficiently.
- Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Provide pre- and post-treatment instructions to patients clearly and professionally.
- Support the reception team with administrative tasks as required, including updating patient information using IT systems.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the clinical environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients to address concerns and answer questions regarding treatments or procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in patient care, preferably within a dental or healthcare setting.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of nursing principles and practices relevant to dental care.
- Basic IT skills for managing digital records and appointment systems.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
