York Campus Nursery are looking for two Apprentice Early Years Educators, to join the team to provide at all times a warm, safe, caring, and stimulating environment for the children aged 0-5, within the nursery’s care.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual, who has a keen interest in pursuing a career within childcare. As an Apprentice you will participate in structured and supervised on the job training to achieve a level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship.
Key Requirements
- Commitment to study towards and achieve a Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship
- An ability to work sympathetically with children and parents.
- Awareness of Health & Safety and practical hygiene issues
- Ability to work calmly whilst working in a hectic environment.
- GCSE English and Maths, or equivalent qualification (preferred)
The fixed term contract is for a period of two years, working 37 hours per week. We will consider deferring start dates in line with the training provider's availability, if required for the applicant.
You will be entitled to 30 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays per annum (some of which will be taken when the nursery is closed).
