About us
We build, buy and sell classic Land Rovers. We're a small, friendly team that takes real pride in the vehicles we put back on the road. We do the simple things properly — and that's exactly what this role is about.
The role
We're looking for an exceptional administrator. Not a junior, not a generalist who'll tolerate admin — someone who is genuinely brilliant at it: organised to a fault, accurate without being told, and reliable to the point where things can simply be handed over and forgotten about.
You'll work directly with the founder and own the day-to-day administration of the business. None of the work is complicated — but every bit of it has to be done right, on time, every time.
What you'll be doing
- Ordering parts from our established suppliers
- Data entry and record-keeping
- Managing V5 documents and vehicle ownership transfers
- Arranging vehicle shipping and transport
- Liaising with suppliers, transporters and other third parties
- Basic health & safety and finance admin
- Keeping our vehicles taxed and on top of deadlines
- Handling the admin around a car sale — confirming the spec with the buyer, booking delivery, sorting the V5 paperwork
The customer contact is light and friendly — confirming details and arranging logistics. Anything difficult or technical stays with the founder. This is an admin role through and through.
Who we're looking for
- Proven experience in an admin role where accuracy genuinely mattered
- Organised and methodical — you keep lists, you double-check, you close loops
- Reliable — when you take something on, it gets done without reminders
- Able to run your own workload independently once shown the ropes
- Comfortable with routine, detailed work — and good at it, not just willing
- Confident with email, spreadsheets and everyday computer admin
An interest in cars or experience with DVLA paperwork is a bonus, not a requirement. We'd rather hire a first-class administrator and teach you the Land Rover side.
What we offer
- £26,000–£33,000 depending on experience — with the top of the range deliberately above the going rate, because we want the best and reliability is worth paying for
- Real ownership: the business's admin will be yours, not a slice of someone else's job
- Direct access to the founder — no layers, no bureaucracy
- Workshops full of classic Land Rovers (a nice place to spend the day)
Pay: £26,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
